This Constix Swab is a sealed foam swab consisting of a foam head formed over the cotton bud of a 6-Inch cotton-tipped applicator with a wood handle. The polyurethane foam head provides good particles entrapment and removal. The absorbent foam enables solvents, such as isopropanol and ethanol, to be readily sorbed for applications involving solvent delivery and removal. No adhesives are used and the wood handle is stiff enough to allow vigorous swabbing. The swab is very absorbent and resistant to most solvents except ketones.
