- Scott Aerator de-icers are designed to keep large areas of water free from ice build-up, even under the most extreme weather conditions. The Scott Aerator Company focused its 50 years of experience to develop superior de-icers that are efficient, reliable and extremely durable in keeping surface areas free of damaging ice. Keeping water areas free of ice, de-icers also improve water quality. The circulation of water helps to oxygenate the water, which is beneficial for fish and other wildlife.
- The Scott slinger style De-Icer can be suspended from a boat, pilings or dock by utilizing nylon ropes (included) to fasten. For the best results, position unit 12” below the water’s surface and angled upward at 45°. Utilizing a three-point securement, the Slinger No-Icer easily adjusts to compensate for varying water levels, and its heavy-duty design is perfect for fresh and salt waters. The unique design allows for use in hard-to-reach areas and for rapidly changing conditions.
- This De-icer for lakes & ponds comes with 1/2 HP 115V Motor (670 Watts, 5 Ampere, 3450 RPM) & 12-gauge, submersible, 25-ft. power cord with rugged Hubbell marine style plug. It can easily move up to 400 gallons of water in a single minute with a flow distance coverage to 50 feet, which means that this de-icer under extreme, below zero winter conditions will keep a minimum 50 ft. diameter area ice free surrounding your boat or dock.
- Products are engineered in the USA for harsh winter conditions. The pump is constructed specifically for the sub-zero North American winter and Marine Deicers capable of clearing wide areas around your dock in freezing temperatures.
