Southwire's 15KV cables are ideal for wet and dry areas, passing through conduits, ducts, troughs, trays, and direct burial, offering superior electrical properties. They can operate continuously at up to 105°C normally, 140°C in emergencies, and 250°C during short circuits. Rated at -35°C for cold bending with UL listing, and -40°C for cold bending and impact with CSA or dual UL/CSA listing. Suitable for Class I and II, Division 2 hazardous locations as per NEC Articles 501 and 502.

- Construction: Class B compact stranded 8000 Series aluminum conductors (ASTM B800, B836)
- Conductor Shield: Semi-conducting cross-linked copolymer; Separator used for cables 500 Kcmil and above
- Insulation: 220 Mils No Lead Ethylene Propylene Rubber (NL-EPR) with 133% Insulation Level
- Insulation Shield: Strippable semi-conducting cross-linked copolymer
- Copper Tape Shield: 5 mil copper tape, helically wrapped with 25% overlap
- Grounding Conductor: Class B compressed stranded bare copper (ASTM B3, B8)
- Filler: Wax paper
- Binder: Poly glass tape
